ABSTRACT
The family can be called the first environment, because in this environment the
child first gets education, guidance, care, habituation, and practice. The family is
not only a place where children are nurtured and raised, but also where children
live and get their first education. In the family the child becomes the priority of
the parents. Every parent would want their children to be smart, intelligent, and
moral. In realizing this, parental assistance is needed. Parental assistance to
children is the basic key in shaping the character of children starting early. The
purpose of this study is to describe the assistance of parents to the learning
outcomes of students in the SDK Penabur Eben Haezar Palembang. The type of
research used is descriptive quantitative research. The number of samples in this
study amounted to 90 students. The sampling technique in this study used a
random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires,
interviews. Data analysis technique used is questionnaire analysis. The results
obtained in this study were parents in the SDK Penabur Eben Haezar SDK
implementing mentoring to students.
