Abstract :
The library is an infrastructure that is expected to support the teaching and learning process so that the system that is run in a library must run well. In this case study, the SDK of Brother Xaverius 2 Palembang has a system that has been designed to provide information for users such as book data, member data, loan book data, and return book data. However, in terms of searching for book titles in the library, they still use a manual system and this of course affects the efficiency of borrowing books because it takes a long time to find the title of the book. So a website-based library system was built with a book title search system using the Knuth-Morris-Pratt (KMP) algorithm. Based on the research that has been done, it is proven that the application of the Knuth-Morris-Pratt algorithm is successfully applied in building a book title search system in the SDK Frater Xaverius 2 Palembang library.
