Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's performance and how it relates to students' cognitive learning outcomes. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used by researchers are structured interviews, questionnaires, direct observation and documentation. The subjects in this study were high grade teachers, namely two fourth grade teachers, two fifth grade teachers, and one sixth grade teacher, who were at the Mitra Penabur Eben Haezar Christian Elementary School Palembang. From the results of the research that has been done, it is found that the teacher's performance in the learning process is good based on the teacher performance assessment indicators from the Ministry of Education and Culture. And in general, this good teacher performance has a good impact on student learning outcomes cognitively although there are still some students who still get results below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) so they must undergo remedial for improvement.
