Abstract :
Background : Stress which is commonly referred to by humans is reacting either physically or mentally to changes, events, and situations in their lives.
Objective: This study aims to describe the level of stress in final year students in the thesis preparation period.
Methods: This research method uses descriptive research methods and sampling using a total sampling technique consisting of 63 respondents Data collection using a Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) 42 questionnaire, data analysis using univariariate
Results: The results of the study of 63 respondents found that the average age of the respondents was 21 years with an age range of 20-23 years, more female respondents were 55 students (87.3%), the univariate results of student stress levels were obtained: 4 Students experienced normal stress (6.7%); 8 Students experienced mild stress (12.7%); 19 Students experienced moderate stress (30.2%); 22 Students experienced severe stress (34.9%); 10 Students experience very heavy stress (15.9%).
Suggestion: The results of this study are expected to provide information about the description of stress levels for students who are preparing thesis.
