Abstract :
The progress of the times makes many women to work and become career women, they do this to help meet household needs and the need for self-actualization. However, they did not leave their duty to become housewives. This study aims to determine whether dual role conflict has a relationship with the occurrence of burnout in career women. This study uses a correlational quantitative research method with 123 career women working under the auspices of the Dharma Ibu Palembang Foundation. The independent variable in this study is dual role conflict, while the dependent variable in this study is burnout. This study uses the Eucators Survey Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI-ES) scale and the multiple role conflict scale. The results obtained in this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between dual role conflict and burnout of career women with a relation coefficient value of 0.353 (weak) and a significant value of 0.001 which means there is a significant relationship. The conclusion in this study is that the higher the dual role conflict, the higher the burnout experienced by career women. Keywords : Burnout, dual role conflict, career woman
