Abstract :
Self-adjustment is a process that is characterized by how well individuals are able to deal with situations and conditions that are always changing so that individuals feel in accordance with the environment and get satisfaction in the process of meeting their needs. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and adjustment of high school students who migrated to Palembang during the New Normal period. This study uses quantitative research methods with a sample of 104 students. The variables of this research are social support and adjustment, using a google form questionnaire as a data collection tool. Hypothesis testing is done by using the Pearson Product Moment test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between parental social support and adjustment with a correlation coefficient of 0.671 and a significance value of 0.000 which proved a significant relationship. From the available data, it is shown that the hypothesis that can be made by the researcher is acceptable, namely "There is a relationship between parental social support on the adjustment of high school Keywords: Social support, Adjustment
