Abstract :
Background: Electrolyte balance disorder and electrolyte are frequent changes in electrolytic concentrations that can cause problems if not managed properly. Electrolyte tests are usually performed as routine checkups of certain medical conditions, such as decline in kidney function, heart failure, diarrhoea and severe dehydration. Chloride inspection laboratories often fail immediately so that there is a delay in the examination. Delays in laboratory checks are sometimes caused by such things as how many samples will be examined or overwork loads, the distance to which samples are sent. In these circumstances, often the deadline of inspection is not noticed sometimes up to 2-3 hours which a result will affect the outcome in Chloride level check. Objective: Find out the difference in chloride levels of the serum that was immediately checked by being suspended for three hours at room temperature Methods: This research USES analtic bservational approaches to cross Sectionals Research subjects used are students at a second-degree medical lab and an iv of 30. Serum samples for each subject were examined using ionized electrode (ISE) Results: The chloride content immediately evaluated had a 105.43 mark while the chloride content was delayed for 3 hours at nuang's temperature had a meary value of 105.83. Data obtained is normal and results 0.314 > 0.05 and 0.233 > 0.05 which suggests normal distributed data. Then tested by Using a verifiable test and results came up with a discrepancy in the chloride levels of the serum immediately treated with three hours of room temperature. Conclusion: There is a significant difference in the chloride content of the serum that was quickly treated by being delayed for three hours at room temperature. Suggestion: Another analit study was conducted on a time of delays for examinations to have an ideal time in sample tests to correct and correct laboratory results.
