Abstract :
Merly Laundry is one of the domestic industry engaged in the sale of clothes washing services. Initial observations show the amount of clothing that is capable ironed by Merly Laundry worker is as much as 140 kg / day while demand is ironed clothes as much as 160 kg / person / day. Laundry Merly can not meet the target of 87.5%. Factors that affect not achieving the target of ironing is the condition of ironing work stations with less physiological work attitude, stood constantly and there is no scheduling break. To solve the existing problems in Laundry Merly do the redesign of work stations ironing by designing tools based sit-stand ergonomic approach Appropriate Technology and conducted treament or intervention to the position of working attitude standing, sitting and sit-stand. Results redesigning work stations ironing is obtained size and adjustable (adjustable high and low). The results of the implementation of sit-stand work attitude with the most optimal rest and nutrition are musculoskeletal complaints decrease of 2.65%., The workload of 44.17% and increases the amount of clothes ironed 60 kg / person / day.
