Abstract :
This study aims to examine the effect of independent variables, namely the
variable work discipline and motivation variables and the dependent variable,
namely the variable performance, the object of this study is the influence of work
discipline and motivation on the performance of employees of PT. Maitri Satya
Bahtera Palembang, the population in this study were all employees of PT. Maitri
Satya Bahtera Palembang and the sample was 36 employees, the type of research
used in this study was a case study. Data obtained by interviewing and
distributing questionnaires regarding work discipline and motivation on the
performance of employees of PT. Maitri Satya Bahtera Palembang. The results of
data analysis show that work discipline and motivation have an influence on
employee performance, this is evidenced from the results of multiple linear
regression analysis that occurs in these variables. It means that the higher the
percentage of work discipline and motivation, the higher the level of employee
performance.
