Abstract :
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine how the application of competitive strategy to the survival of the typical pindang culinary businesses in Palembang City. The data collection technique used is interviews. Data analysis aims to simplify data so that it is easy to understand and analyze. The results show that the application of competitive strategy applied by pindang culinary businesses has a positive effect on increasing business performance and competitive advantage that can maintain the survival of the pindang culinary businesses. The application of competitive strategy in pindang culinary businesses has a high level of effectiveness on the survival of the pindang culinary businesses. In addition, the implementation of competitive strategy has been felt by pindang culinary businesses and there are benefits for pindang culinary businesses in maintaining the survival of the pindang culinary businesses.
