Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of political connections and CEO Gender on Tax Avoidance by focusing on banking and non-banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a research period of 2019-2021. The data used is secondary data. The population in this study are banking and non-banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and obtained 45 companies with a total of 135 samples. Hypothesis testing was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that political connections have no effect on tax avoidance and CEO Gender has a significant effect on tax avoidance.
