Abstract :
Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood. Premarital sexual behavior is sexual behavior carried out without due process of marriage officially by law or religion and belief of each individual. Based on the research in 1999, Indonesian teenagers who have premarital sex as much as 18%. MAN and the high school represents a different type of education, where MAN focuses on high school religious education while emphasizing public education, so they have a different attitude in regard premarital sex. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research. Research subjects in this study about 132 students comprising of student MAN I Malang as many as 66 students and high school students Taman Madya Malang as many as 66 students. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling method. The instruments used in this study is the scale attitude toward premarital sex. While the data analysis methods used were t test Results of analysis using the t test and found t = 9.418 with p = 0.000, meaning that there are differences in attitudes toward premarital sex among high school students and MAN. High school students have more positive attitudes tended toward premarital sex (mean x = 75.83) than students MAN (mean x = 56.26). This shows that not all high school students have positive attitudes toward premarital sex, in which high school students who have negative attitudes toward premarital sex as many as 45 students or 31.82%. While students MAN there are also students with positive attitude toward premarital sex as much as 8 students or 12.12%.
