Abstract :
ABSTRACT The child abuse has become the serious issue in some cities including Malang. Many laws have been produced by the government concerning the protection of Indonesian children’s right that bring the protection mission for Indonesian's children. This concern has become the challenge for the law enforcement agency. The research used the sociological juridical approach method, the technique of collecting data are interview and observation in the research field at Polresta Malang as place for taking the primary data. And then, the data are analyzed qualitatively. From the research result, can be found that the forms of child abuses in Malang are the physical and sexual abuses. Polresta Malang does not find the psychological abuse yet. From those kind of abuses, can be found that the abuses can be happened because: the fasting growth of the pornography video in society, the lacking of parent's care and affection, the effect of mass media, and the economic problem of family. The conclusion is most of the doer of child abuse are people who have been known by the victim. Because of the economic factor and the effect of mass media, this issue can be happened in society. The suggestion of this issue is the important of socialization of Acts Concerning Children Protection No. 23, 2002.
