Abstract :
Analysis has been done on companies that make acquisitions in IDX, PT. Holcim Indonesia Tbk, PT. Barito Pacific Tbk and PT. Wijaya Karya Tbk, this is due to competition among firms becomes more intense and sharp. Therefore many companies do not get funding for internal expansion but obtaining external funding to expand by purchasing an existing company in building a business that no longer start from scratch. So the company that wants fast growth of good size, market share and diversification may make acquisitions. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence by analyzing whether there is a significant difference between before and after the acquisition of the acquisition. This study uses mann whitney test hypotheses. In the overall variable testing three years before and three years after the acquisition of PT. Holcim Indonesia Tbk. obtained sig. 0.551> 0.05, PT. Barito Pacific Tbk. obtained sig. 0.697> 0.05, while the PT. Wijaya Karya Tbk. results obtained sig. 0.910> 0.05. So it can be concluded that there are three companies were not significant differences between the three years prior to the acquisition of the three years after the acquisition.
