Abstract :
In a company must have a lot of the problems that are inside. The one problem that exists is a product that will cause the queue wip (Work in Process). It is very influential on the amount of production output. PT. Malindo Intitama Raya is a company that produces spring. Total operator that insufficiently correct will beget to mark sense product queue and WIP (work in process) one that tall in many workstation every impacted department on corporate productivity. The proposal to solve the existing problems, namely by considering the addition of the operator and the machine. In designing the determination of the number of operators will be used simulation software ARENA ® 12:00. From the analysis of the seven alternatives made with simulation software ARENA 12:00 ®, a 5th alternative provides the best solution. Alternative 5 produces an average decrease queuing time and WIP (work in process) on each production process, so that the amount of product output has increased from 15 units / day to 19 units / day, and reduced total cost of USD 4,548,874.095 / day to Rp 4,208,271.602 / day.
