Abstract :
The purposes of this research were: 1) to describe The Implementation of Scientific Approach used Problem Posing in teaching and learning Mathematics, 2) student’s activities in teaching and learning mathematics used problem posing in Scientific Approach and 3) student’s communication ability in teaching and learning mathematics used problem posing in Scientific Approach Related to the purposes of the study, the researcher used descriptive as the design of this research and qualitative quantitative as the approach. The objective of this research was the Implementation of Scientific Approach used Problem Posing. The sources data were eight grade students of SMP N 18 Malang and the researcher. The data taken from observation was to know the activities of teacher and student’s, Test was to know the student's communication ability in the form of written. After having collecting the data, the researcher analyzed them by account the percentage of value in each indicator. It was to know students, teacher activities and communication ability in each meeting. The finding shows that: 1) the implementation scientific approach used problem posing was same as the steps in the RPP. There were observing, questioning, associating, experimenting, and networking in mathematics subject 2) During teaching and learning activities, the student’s have good categories. The detail explanation was in observing and networking activities is very good, from questioning, associating, and experimenting activities with same category is good, 3) the communication ability in mathematics was student’s creativity with good category were used and explain about mathematics, meanwhile the communication ability in mathematics with less value was presenting the work with good structural.
