Abstract :
Every marriage must have a problem, including the newly married couple.
Individuals who have intimacy in their marriage will find it easier to deal with
conflicts. One of the causes of women's difficulties in presenting intimacy to their
husbands is the relationship between women and past experiences that are closely
related to parenting parents. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship
between father involvement in parenting with intimacy towards the husband. The
research design used is quantitative correlational. The instruments of the two
variables in this study used the scale of father involvement in care andscale intimacy.
Subjects numbered 99 women with wife status in Sumberpucung sub-district aged 18-
25 years and the sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data analysis using
product moment. The results showed that there was a significant positive
relationship between father involvement in intimacy with caregiving toward
husbands with coefficient of r = 0.397, with significance p = 0.000 <0.05.
