Abstract :
Less optimal moral development emerges the moral behavior deviation in children lately. One of the factors that does not optimize children's moral development is the environment. Moral development can be improved, one of which is through traditional games where moral values are included also can involve the environment around the child. The purpose of this study was to determine whether traditional games of congklak lidi and gobak sodor by means of an experiential learning method could improve moral development in children. This study employed the control group pre-test post-test design. The employed instrument in this study was the scale of moral development. The results showed an increase in moral development scores (Z = -4,168; p = 0,000 <0, 05). Thus, it can be concluded that the traditional game of congklak lidi and gobak sodor by means of an experimental learning method can enhance the moral development.
