Abstract :
Dampit feeder is a feeder in the Southern Region of Malang precisely located in Dampit Regency of Malang. The reliability analysis of the distribution system is performed to determine the reliability index of a feeder so that it can be known that the feeder need to be reconfigured. Reconfiguring the feeder with the proper placement and addition of the recloser position can improve the reliability of a feeder. Distribution system has a considerable risk of interference. Therefore it is necessary to analysis reliability on the feeder, so that when disturbance occurs, a system that has high reliability can localize the disturbance in the disturbance area, so the system does not extinguish the total in a long time and the distribution of electrical energy remains awake. In this research using the optimization method of artificial bee colony. This research begins by calculating the reliability index of Dampit feeders using the reliability index assessment method and using MATLAB software. Furthermore, the main bus and main line groupings are performed for optimization using the artificial bee colony method. The results of the research were in the form of a graph of the reliability index and recloser position so that the smallest reliability index value can be identified with position of recloser.
