Abstract :
Aquaponics is a hydroponic cultivation technique where plants grow with akualkultur cultivation where fish develop into one place. One problem that is often faced is not the maximum yield of fish production because of the large number of fish that die due to poorly maintained water quality. PH of water is too high or low is one of the causes of problems that occur. Keeping the pH of water at 5-8 is one way to maintain the quality of the water so that the production of fish can increase. Data transmission for monitoring uses the MQTT protocol because the advantages of the MQTT protocol that is not possessed by the HTTP protocol are low latency, smaller bandwidth, more secure and publish / subscribe commands for data to be sent or received. Smart akuaponik is a device that works for control and monitoring, by keeping the pH value of water at 5-8 by replacing water and replenishing the water until the pH returns to normal condition, circulating water for plants running for 5 minutes and stopping for 5 minutes, feeding the fish conducted every morning and evening, and sending value sensor from PH, temperature, humidity and CO² using the MQTT protocol to broker Ubidots to enable monitoring.
