Abstract :
Interpersonal communication between marriage couple has an important role to maintain the continuity of marriage and to support the occurrence of marriage satisfaction. Marriages by young married couples are very vulnerable to disputes because they are not ready based on physical, psychological and to assume the responsibilities of marriage. This will be agreed on divorce. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship of interpersonal communication on marriage young couple on their marital satisfaction. This research is a quantitative corelational method with purposive sampling. This research is using total sampling method with 10 subjects (80 couples) who live in Tabalong, South Kalimantan. While the data analysis used is product moment analysis using SPSS 22. This study uses 2 scales, namely interpersonal communication scale and marriage satisfaction. Based on the results of the study obtained a comparison value (R2) of 0.514 with a probability of 0,000 (p <0.05). The results showed a significant positive relationship between interpersonal communication with marriage satisfaction in young married couples.
