Abstract :
Cases that occur during rape, murder, dating or marrying a virtual friend begin with a person's belief in his virtual friend. Trust in others can be called interpersonal trust. Interpersonal trust can be bound by bonds between individuals or commonly referred to as attachment style. The purpose of this study is to study the interaction of each attachment style to interpersonal trust. This study used a purposive sampling data collection technique with subjects who won 309 social media users who received 20-40 years and had virtual friends they had never met before. Through the analysis of multiple linear regression data obtained p value 0.848 for guaranteed attachment and 0.303 for whichever attachment is greater than 0.05, so that the attachment force secured is not significant to interpersonal trust in virtual friends and the attachment force to dismiss also has no influence significant on interpersonal trust in virtual friends. Fearful-avoidant attachment (p 0.026) and preoccupation (p 0,000) have a significance level as 0.05 interpersonal in virtual friends.
