Abstract :
Barista is one of many occupations which youths have interest in. On the other hand, many youths who work as barista think that being barista simply as a hobby, so it affects their career satisfaction. This research aims to discover the relationship between career interests towards career satisfaction of barista workers. This research is a quantitative correlational research. Subjects of this research were taken from individual who has been working as a barista more than one year and in the age of 18-25 years old. The sampling technique is incidental sampling and there were 72 subjects. The collecting instrument is a career satisfaction scale compiled by Amukti (2013) and a career interest scale from Holland (Ratri, 2016). Data analysis method in this research is simple regression analysis. The analysis shows that there is no influence of career interest on the career satisfaction of barista. The dimensions of artistic career interest have the biggest contribution (5.7%) to the career satisfaction of baristas.
