Abstract :
Leadership style has a positive and significant impact on employee job satisfaction. Leaders need to apply the appropriate leadership style and suitable with the circumstances and conditions of employees in the company. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of leadership style on employee job satisfaction. This study uses a quantitavie approach and the design used in this study is corellational. Criteria for research subjects are all employees of PT. UMM Sengkaling Recreation Park, either permanent employees nor freelancers and aid workers. The total subjects in this study are 135 people. The research instrument used was the job satisfaction scale and the leadership style scale. The results of the analysis using a linear regression test showed that the autocratic, paternalistic and laissez faire leadership style had a significant influence on job satisfaction, which amounted to 63,5%. So if the leader is more optimal (high) applying autocratic, paternalistic and laissez faire leadership styles, employee job satisfaction will be even higher.
