One thing to note is the skills of journalists in search for, obtain, possess, store, process, and communicate information appropriately. It can be influenced by cognitive flexibility journalist. The objective of this research is to know the relationship between cognitive flexibility in decision-making on journalists This type of research uses a quantitative correlation. Subject reporters of media online or offline some 78 in Malang, using purposive sampling technique. This study used two measuring devices that CFS (cognitive flexibility scale) by Martin & Rubin's (1995) and the second is DMQ (Decision making questionere) by Mann et al (1982). The data analysis method used by Karl Pearson correlation test. The result from this research show (r) value 0,508 its meanthere is a relationship between fleksibilitas kognitif with decision-making capabilities to reporters, the higher the fleksibilitas kognitif also show more higher the ability of a journalist is aware of the risk of his ability to take a decision on the environment has changed suddenly.
