Abstract :
This research is the description research in cigarette company that’s to be go public with the tittle is is the application of economic value added method as the instrument to appraise the finance work in cigarette company that’s go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The purpose of this research is to examine the appraise of the company finance work with EVA method. From this research the writer take the hypothese that the cigarette company finance work that was registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange is healthy, if from the EVA method appereance and from the 4 company, PT HM Sampoerna has the best finance work than the others. From the result of calculation cigarette company, PT Bentoel InvestamaInternasional Tbk, in 2005 untill 2008 produce negative EVA’s. PT HanjayaMandala Sampoerna Tbk in 2005 and 2006 produce positive EVA’s result as big as Rp 55.278.464.292.152, and Rp 28.899.871.662.746, Whereas in 2007 untill 2008 the EVA’s result showed negative as big as Rp -199.005.028.274.715 and Rp -232.759.045.345.185. Based of the text above the writer conclude that from the 2 company, PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk has the best finance work. This is shown from the EVA’s value, PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk more big than the other’s
