ABSTRACT Anzani, Firda Nur. 201810010311128. Thesis. Implementation of Religious Programs in Forming Student Discipline at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Batu. Islamic Education Departement. Faculty of Islamic Religion. Advisor: (I) Prof. Dr.Ishomuddin, M.Si (II) Zulfikar Yusuf, M.Pd. I The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of religious program activities in shaping student discipline at SMA Muhammadiyah 03 Kota Batu and to find out what obstacles schools face in forming student discipline through religious programs at SMA Muhammadiyah 03 Kota Batu. This study uses a qualitative approach with a study case. The data collection techniques used by the researcher are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study state that 1) Religious programs that are carried out in supporting the formation of student discipline are: a) dhuha prayer, b) congregational prayer, c) dhikr after prayer, d) reading the Quran in the morning (tahfidz class), e) takliman, f) reading hadith, g) sermon training, h) daughterhood, and i) the existence of a mission book. 2) The implementation of religious programs in shaping student discipline at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Batu includes: a) Implementing religious activity programs that support student activity and discipline that must be carried out by all students at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Batu. b) Applying rewards and punishments used by SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Batu in the implementation of religious activities. c) Carry out the process of understanding, habituation, exemplary, and supervision carried out by all teachers and persons in charge of religious programs. 3) Then the obstacles faced by SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Batu in forming student discipline through religious programs at SMA Muhammadiyah 03 Kota Batu include: a) lack of awareness in students which affects the effectiveness of religious activities, b) limited implementation time often makes the conditions of activities not conducive, c) the influence of technology and social media, d) students' interest and involvement in participating in religious activity programs carried out by SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Batu.
