Abstract :
Background: Intradialytic Exercise is a physical activity carried out by patients while undergoing hemodialysis. Exercise performed during dialysis can prevent the side effects of cardiovascular inactivity and death, physical function, HD continuity and better quality of life in patients undergoing hemodialysis.
Purpose : To determine the effect of intradialytic exercise on the quality of life patients undergoing hemodialysis.
Method: The design used in this research is a literature study. Journal searches used ScienceDirect, Wiley, Google Scholar, PubMed, and ProQuest . The stages of literature study in this research are problem identification, data search, screening, study quality testing, data extraction and data analysis using thematic analysis . To test the quality of the study using the JBI Randomized Controlled Trial and Quasi Experimental Study tools.
Results: Intradialytic Exercise as a basis for rehabilitation of patients undergoing HD which has a positive effect in reducing the status of depression, stress and fatigue which has an impact on cardiometabolism such as reducing uremic symptoms, controlling blood pressure, increasing physical fitness which can improve the quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis.
Conclusion: Intradialytic Exercise has a positive effect on the quality of life patients undergoing hemodialysis.
