Abstract :
The research was aimed at controlling the supply of raw materials by means of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method at Small and Middle Enterprise (UKM) Tahu Nugraha Jaya Sukabumi. The research method applied was descriptive-quantitative in order to tabulating the data by using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). The research deployed Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)for it was able to optimize the supply of raw materials. The result of the research shows that the control of raw materials supply which is implemented by the UKM Tahu Nugraha Jaya Sukabumi has not been optimum. The company does not deplete raw materials in fulfilling consumers? needs, but it has not been able to minimalize supply cost. By applying Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, it shows more efficiently than the conventional method of the company. As observed from the difference of TIC from both methods, the data that show more efficient result is Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method which is amounted to 244,393.94, while the calculation that has been being used by the company is amounted to 374,325, so that that is a difference between Company?s TIC and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)?s TIC.
