Abstract :
The research was aimed finding out how was the street vendor structuring strategy in which the study case was in Kapten Harun Kabir steet Sukabumi city. The untidiness of street vendors at Kapten Harun Kabir street was a problem tha trequired long-lasting solution in order to be organized, orderly and comfortable. In conducting the research, the researcher deployed qualitative method with Purposive Sampling technique in determining informants. Triangulation technique was applied as well. The theory applied was Siagian?s strategy theory consisting of 6 dimensions; 1) Top management involvement, in implementing the strategy, the top management is involved in applying structuring strategy as control planning maker, prosecution and control; 2) Fund Allocation, Infrastructure and Facility, in which in the dimension fund, facility and infrastructure have been provided by local government yet the facility have not been spread well; 3) Strategic Decision Time, every planning and its realization have time both related to facility and infrastructure; 4) Future Orientation, in order to anticipate the place, local government indeed has to own futuristic plan to overcome chaos; 5) Multi-facet Strategic Issue Consequence, coordinative and integrative attitude from related institution is required to solve the chaos of street vendors; 6) External Environment, street vendor is external environment that can be both hampering and supporting factors in street vendors structuring strategy.
