Abstract :
This study aims to describe the implementation of circuit learning models that can improve the ability of creative thinking in social studies learning in high class and describe the improvement of students' creative thinking skills through circuit learning models in social studies learning in high class. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were 31 students of VA class SDN Dayeuhluhur CBM. Date of research May 25 to June 1. Place in SDN Dayeuhluhur CBM. Data collection techniques in this study were using interviews, observation, tests, and field notes. The instruments used were interview guides, observation sheets, creative thinking skills tests, and field notes. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the implementation of the circuit learning learning model with observational data on teacher activity in the first cycle which received a value of 63 and the second cycle obtained a value of 87. In the observation activity students in the first cycle scored 61 and the second cycle obtained 82. The results of observations of students' creative thinking by using the circuit learning model in the first cycle obtained a value of 56 and cycle II 80. The increase in the ability to think creatively using the test in the first cycle obtained a value of 64% and the second cycle obtained a value of 84%. Based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the circuit learning learning model can improve the creative thinking skills of students in social studies learning in the fifth grade of SDN Dayeuhluhur CBM academic year 2018/2019.
