Abstract :
This research aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model on science process skills of student. This research conducted with two class as experimental class and control class and applied Quasi Experimental Design that was Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this research are V grade of SDN Begeg Sukabumi. The data is collected by science process skill test. The result of this research shows that the experimental class students have higher average science process skills outcomes than the control class. There were the experimental class is 75.33 while the control class is 60.07. Data analysis were using indepentdent t-test (a = 5%) showed a significance result of -15.83. Significance value is smaller than 0.05, indicating that there were difference in student?s science process skills between student who were taught by guided inquiry learning and student who were taught by conventional learning. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model effects science process skills of student.
