Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of video slideshow media on nationalism attitudes of students in high school elementary school. The method used in this study is an experimental method with the design of Quasi Experimental Design, and the form used by Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample used was a saturated sample, which was all VA students and VB classes at Sukamanah Cisaat Sukabumi 2 Public Elementary School. The data collection technique in this study used a nationalism attitude questionnaire, given at the pretest and posttest. The results showed that the average pretest-posttest score in the experimental class was 33.21-43.16. While the average score of the pretest-posttest in the control class is 33.75-34,55. In addition, the results of the paired-samples t test in the experimental class obtained the sig value. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 so that H0 is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of students' nationalism on the class taught using video slideshow media. Whereas in the control class the sig value is obtained. (2-tailed) 0.414 > 0.05 so that H1 is accepted, meaning that there is no influence of nationalist attitudes of students in the class being taught not to use video slideshow media. From the results of these tests so that it can be concluded that video slideshow media has more influence on the attitude of nationalism of students in high school elementary school.
