Abstract :
This research was designed to improve the students creative thinking skill in the high class in elementary school through implementation of Science Technology and Society. This research is kind of classroom action reseach with Kemmis & Mc. Taggart models. The procedure in this research have 4 steps in one cycle or commonly called are citring cycle, the components it?s starting from planning, action, observation until reflection. After one cycle is completed until the reflection stage, then book to the planning to do the next cycle. This research is carried out by collaboratively between the research and the teacher. The objects in this research the students in fifth grade that totaly 37 students. The technique of retrival the datas is this research was using some methods such as observation, interview, and test. The result in the first cycle it?s showed that the students creative thinking was increased. The students percentage mastery before using this method is 5% while for the students completeness after given cycle I. There are increasing of percentage become 41%. It?s show there are improved of mastery as much as 36%. As well as one the cycle II ther are improving of mastery as much 51% with the obtained percentage of completeness in the cycle II 92%. The result of this research was showed thet science technology and society models (STS) could improve the students creative thinking skill in the high class in elementary school.
