Abstract :
Bank Mulamalat Indonesia, Bank BNI Syariah, Bank BCA Syariah, Bank Syariah Mandiri and Bank BRI Syariah are public sharia banks registered in the Financial Services Authority. The problem identified at those companies was fluctuation and inefficiency on Operational Expenses and Revenue during 2014-2016. The research was aimed at determining the level of efficiency of each sharia bank by applying data envelopment analysis method. The research method deployed was qualitative-descriptive. Secndary data were deployed in terms of financial statement of each sharia bank during 2014-2016 periods which were obtained from official website of Financial Services Authority, www.ojk.go.id. The results of the research show that these five sharia banks are in relatively stable efficiency level according to data envelopment analysis method. However, sharia banks are expected to continue maximizing the exist input and output in order to improve their efficiency every year so that it will trigger other banks that have not reached their efficiency to develop.
