Analysis of gender differences in accounting skills is a tool to assess the level of ability of students in conducting lectures, especially the learning outcomes of accounting courses. And what will be the accounting ability of each student will affect the level of success in completing the final task (thesis). In addition, it is also a means of evaluation so that each teacher can find ways to make gender differences not a barrier to learning outcomes. This study aims to find out how gender differences affect the accounting understanding of each student. The variables used in this study were gender differences and understanding of accounting. The object of the research used in this study was gender differences (male and female students) towards accounting skills at Muhammadiyah University in Sukabumi. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that student achievement in terms of obtaining accounting values for the 6 accounting courses tested, namely female students have better learning achievement than men. And judging from the results of the GPA (Grade Point Average), the average female student graduating with a very good (very good) predicate is that on average male students graduate with a satisfying predicate (good). As well as it turns out that a basic understanding of accounting has little effect on the completion of the final assignment.
