Abstract :
The regional secretariat is the supporting element of the regional government leader and led by the regional secretary. The regional secretary is assigned to assist the head of the region in formulating policies and coordinate regional offices as well as regional technical institutions. One of the divisions in the regional secretariat is the Public Relations division that has the duties and functions for carrying out publications. The research was aimed at finding out how the activities of Public Relations of Sukabumi Regency Regional Secretariat were in conducting publication through facebook. The research deoloyed qualitative research method with descriptive approach. The techniques of collecting data were observation, interview, documentation and literature review. The result of the research shows that the publication activities of Public Relations are in terms of meeting, cooperation with local media such as SukabumiUpdate.Com and PikiranRakyat.Com, press conference and press tour. One of the obstacles in those publication is that only a few of people know the Public Relations division?s social media. In solving such problems, Public Relations always provides updated news related to the government of Sukabumi Regency, monitor posts and feedbacks from the society by employing special administrator for managing and developing the Public Relations? facebook account.
