Abstract :
Sukabumi City Police (Polres Kota Sukabumi) is an organization structure of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia in several regency and city areas of Sukabumi. The Sukabumi City Police bears a complete task force led by the Police Superintendent. The Sukabumi City Police is functioned to implement the duties of the National Police in city level. The research was aimed at determining and describing the strategies of the Public Relation of Sukabumi City Police in improving positive image of the City Police itself. The research method applied is qualitative method by means of descriptive approach, while the techniques applied for collecting the data were observation, interview and documentation as complement. The result of the research shows that members of the Public Relations of Sukabumi City Police deploy Communication Strategy through social media and media relations with pers in improving the positive image of the City Police.
