Abstract :
ASSESSMENT STRUCTURE OF UMMI BUILDINGS TO EARTHQUAKE RESISTANCE BASED ON SNI 1726: 2012 (CASE STUDY OF E AND F BUILDINGS, MUHAMMADIYAH UNIVERSITY OF SUKABUMI). Mochammad Rizal Fadillah. NIM. 1630111044. Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi is a university with a high student increase. Therefore, the need for buildings is increasing every year, both for learning spaces or facilities for supporting other academic activities. Therefore, periodic maintenance is required for old buildings and new buildings. This research was conducted with the aim of assessing the damage to E and F buildings against earthquake resistance and knowing the value of the strength of earthquake resistance from the results of the assessment to E and F buildings. The methods uses in this research such as: visual observation, building design data, material quality, earthquake loads, structural systems, soil investigations, structural modeling with the help of the ETABS application, and analysis stages. The analysis stages uses in this research consist of calculating the natural vibration time, the basic shear force, the earthquake horizontal shear force distribution, and the TReyleigh analysis of the structural vibration time. The results of all these assessments shows that E and F UMMI buildings on structural modeling uses the ETABS application that the buildings structure is included in the safe category with regard to the ultimate boundary performance of the buildings structure at earthquake loads in X and Y directions when an earthquake occurs and has a deviation between floors in the X direction that does not meet requirements stipulated in SNI 1726: 2012. The deviation value exceeds 1% of the required floor height, this value on the basement is 1.55% , 2.05% on the 1st floor, 1.36% on the 2nd floor and 1.21% on the 3rd floor.
