Abstract :
The title of this study is Swearing in Album of Songs Titled Queen by Nicki Minaj. The research has two purposed such as to describe swearing by formal aspect and refrences. This study concerns with the descriptive analysis of swear word found in an album of the songs which named Queen by Nicki Minaj. The research method employed in this study is descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected through listen and taking note method. The data was taken from the lyrics of the songs in website that verified by Nicki Minaj. Then, analyze the data used content analysis based on Miles and Huberman theory include reduction, display data, and conclusion. There are shapes and kinds of swearing based on word and phrase. Shapes of swearing such as shit, nigga, bitch, classic shit, don?t fucking bite it, fuckin? featherweight, mothafuck, fucking highest, a fat nigga, how the fuck, fuck around. The finding presented that there are six kinds of swear words. There are two swear words that related to situation (face ass, damn, who the fuck, and where the fuck), a swear word that related to type of food (shit), a swear word that related to death (go to hell), two swear words that related to one?s mother in law (bitch and motherfucking), a swear word that related to animal?s name (bull), and two swear words that related kinship (bitches and homie fuck).
