Abstract :
Technology is currently advancing very rapidly, especially Fiber To The Home (FTTH) technology which was built by the Telkom company to modernize the existing network, therefore PT Telkom implements a network using fiber optic cables to support Fiber To The Home technology. (FTTH), in today's telecommunications developments, a transmission medium that is capable of transmitting information with a large capacity and data transfer is required, of course. Media that have developed well from integrated transmission media using a cable system network (Guide Transmission) there are also non-integrated transmission media using a wave/radio system (Unguided Transmission). As already known by all networks based on fiber optic cables that can deliver digital information, which is more effective.
