Abstract :
The background this research is the low level of intensive reading skills in class V in Indonesian subject learning, due to the lack of students' ability to understand the contents of the text so that it is difficult for them to concentrate. Based on the research problem, the purpose of this study is to describe the planning of learning by using Cooperative Script learning models in Indonesian subjects. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), the research design used the Kemmis and Taggart models in 2 cycles. Data collection tools in this research are tests, observations, field notes, and documentation. The participants in this research were all students of class V which numbered 24 students consisting of 13 male students and 11 female students. The results of the students? pretest in this research obtaining classical completeness included the still less category that is 5 students (20%), in the first cycle there was an increase in classical completeness including enough category that is 10 students (58%) and in the second cycle there was an increase in classical completeness good that is 21 students (87%). The results of this study concluded that implementing Cooperative Script learning models in Indonesian subject learning can improve intensive reading skills in class V at SDN Tunas Harapan in kecamatan Warungkiara in 2018/2019.
