Abstract :
This scientific paper was based on the background of morbidity rates which were ranked as the third highest in RSUD R. Syamsudin, SH, Sukabumi City. Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder that cannot be cured but can be controlled by the form of encouragement and support from the family so that it can give birth to a positive spirit in living life. The process of making scientific papers uses descriptive methods. Diabetes mellitus is a group of heterogeneous problems that can be proven by blood glucose levels> 200 mg / dl or commonly called hyperglycemia. Symptoms that appear in type II diabetes are fatigue, polyuria, polydipsia, wounds difficult to heal, vaginal infections or blurred vision, during the assessment, it was found that Mr. S suffered from diabetes mellitus without injury. At the time of treatment there are 3 diagnoses that appear. Arranged planning refers to the theoretical foundation. In implementing the implementation, the intervention carried out was only an intervention that was directly related to the problem that occurred at that time. In evaluating all diagnoses that appear on Mr. S can be overcome. Recommendations for the room are expected to provide a medium of information in the form of DM leaflets and for nurses are expected to further apply the role in their psychology while for families it is expected to contribute to implementing a diet so that clients want and are able to carry out a healthy life.
