Abstract :
The market demand for Baster gold fish as the ornamental fish was not fully covered, especially in Sukabumi region. Based on the research, the semi-natural spawning could improve the production quantity. Egg cell and the sperm mixing held the role in semy natural spawning process. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of sperm diluent techniques on fertilization rate and hatching rate. This study was conducted on May 2019 in the experimental pond of Aquaculture Study Program. The treatment was used in this research are direct mixing and using physiological solution as dilution. The results showed that mixing technique was relate to fertilization rate (p<0,3) and treatment using dilution obtained the highest FR, But, the different mixing technique was not relate to hatching rate baster goldfish egg..
