Abstract :
IQBAL FAISAL MUHARRAM. 3031321001. Terubuk Farming in Padasenang Village, Cidadap District, Sukabumi Regency. Under advisory of Reny Sukmawani and Ema Hilma Meilani. Terubuk -Sugar Cane Flower- (Saccharum edule Hasskart) is one type of local vegetable that has long been known to the community as indigenous vegetables. In Sukabumi District, especially in Padasenang Village, Cidadap district, it is found in most areas. In the initial survey it was found that without special handling the soil could grow well and be able to adapt to various growing requirements. The purpose of the research was to find out Terubuk farming in Padasenang Village, Cidadap district, Sukabumi Regency. The research was conducted by survey method. The object of research were farmers who planted terubuk. The sampling technique applied was cluster sampling, in which the population were divided into groups based on area or cluster. The data used were primary and secondary data by means of observation, interviews and literature studies. Based on the results of the initial survey, farmers who planted Terubuk in Padasenang Village, Cidadap district, Sukabumi Regency are 30 people. All of the farmers were selected as respondents so that the form of sampling used was purpose sampling: samples were searched based on certain characteristics with consideration of the farmers who planted them. The results of the analysis of Terubuk farming show that the R/C ratio is 1.6, which means that the farm is feasible to cultivate. Cultivation of this plant is quite beneficial and promising if it is developed and introduced in Indonesian market, they are very popular as there are many vitamins contained.
