Abstract :
This study aims to (1) describe the linguistic aspects of humor discourse with the theme of Covid-19?, (2) describe the values of character education in humor discourse with the theme of Covid-19 19?, (3) describes the implementation of the results of research on linguistic aspects as teaching materials for anecdotal texts for class X. This study uses a qualitative approach. The source of data used in this study is data that shows the humorous discourse of Covid-19 contained in social media Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. The data collection technique in this study was carried out through documenting images containing sentences in the Covid-19 humor discourse, then carrying out activities to record words or sentences in the Covid-19 humor discourse, finally grouping words or sentences in the form of linguistic aspects in the semantic field and content. the value of character education in the Covid-19 humor discourse. Furthermore, implementing the data into anecdotal text teaching materials. The data analysis method on the linguistic aspect of humor discourse uses the translational equivalent method, while analyzing the content of character education values is through content analysis. The results show that the Covid-19 humor discourse contains linguistic aspects in the type of meaning, namely grammatical meaning and connotation. The relationship between form and meaning consists of synonyms, antonyms, polysemy, and homonyms. The value of character education in the Covid-19 humor discourse consists of the values of caring, love for the homeland, discipline, religion, respect, positive thinking, and sympathy. The research was implemented in the form of teaching materials in the form of Indonesian anecdotal text modules for class X SMA. The Indonesian anecdote text module consists of a cover, introductory content, concept map, table of contents, instructions for use, a glossary, learning objectives, short material, practice questions at the end of each learning activity, and evaluation questions. The existence of this electronic-based module is expected to be a solution in restoring students' enthusiasm for learning and being able to develop more independent learning.
