Abstract :
The juridical analysis in the resolution of disputes over land ownership with double certificates contains the settlement of cases carried out by the National Land Agency in disputes over land ownership with dual certificates in Surakarta City. The method used by the author is empirical juridical, namely by implementing normative legal provisions (laws) in action on certain legal events that occur in a society. The results that can be concluded from this study are that the land owner himself, the National Land Agency and the local government, kelurahan or village are the factors causing the occurrence of double certificates due to negligence or inaccuracy in issuing certificates both regarding physical data and juridical data. Therefore, these three factors and other factors that cause double certificates must be corrected so that later cases of double certificates can be resolved as early as possible.
