Abstract :
This study aims to identify and reveal the strategies of PAI teachers in dealing with student delinquency, to find out the forms of student delinquency, and to find out the inhibiting and supporting factors of PAI teachers' strategies in dealing with student delinquency at SMPIT Iqro Nogosari Boyolali. This research is included in the type of field research (field research) which is descriptive qualitative. In this study used data collection obtained by conducting research directly in the field. Informants in this study were the principal, vice head of student affairs, Islamic religious education teachers and students. Data were collected by observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study stated that (1) The forms of student delinquency at SMPIT Iqro Nogosari, Boyolali can be categorized into 3, namely ordinary delinquency, delinquency leading to violations and crimes, and special delinquency. (2) PAI teacher strategies are advising students who are classified as naughty, through subjects in class, intensifying guidance and counseling in schools, and conducting legal awareness counseling. In addition, deputy head of student also has its own activities, including personal, social, study and career guidance as well as religious activities. (3) The inhibiting factors for the PAI teacher's strategy in dealing with delinquency include, there are some teachers who are indifferent, many teachers work in other schools, media development, peer influence, reluctant to accept input from all teachers. While the supporting factors for PAI teachers in dealing with delinquency include being handled by all school residents, in terms of human resources, the teachers are on average supportive, lots of free time to provide material on morals. The result after the guidance is that there are children who become good, obey school rules, but on the contrary there are children who often repeat delinquency again.
