Abstract :
The prevalence of stunting under five in 2021 is 24,4%. This is a serious problem in indonesia because the prevalence rate is still above 20% based on the WHO target. One of the risk factors for stunting is the low birth weight (LBW). Babies with LBW will be slower in terms of growth and development bacause the fetus has growth failure which will continue until the next age. To review the relationship between a history of LBW and the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in Indonesia. This study uses the Literature Review method. This study reviewed 10 articles sourced from the Google Scholar database indexed by SINTA (S1-S4) and Scopus (Q1-Q4) using the keywords Toddler 2-5 years LBW Stunting. Inclusion criteria : Publication of articles in the last 10 years (2012-2022), articles in indonesian or english language, the article that discuss the relationship between a history of LBW and the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months use a cross-sectional or case-control study design. Exclusion criteria : Paid articles, the result of the study are Literature review, Systematic review and Meta-analisis. 8 of 10 articles stated there is a significant relationship between the LBW history of infants with the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in Indonesia (p ? 0,05). LBW toddlers had an LBW history causing stunting if their energy consumption is deficient and they have a history of chronic infectious disease.
