Abstract :
This study aims to analyze the effect of the average length of schooling, unemployment rate, PDRB, dependency rate on poverty rates in the Solo Raya area. This study is a quantitative study by taking panel data, while the data used are time series data from 2016-2020 and cross section data in districts/cities in Solo Raya in Central Java Province,
The results showed that the coefficients of the average length of schooling, unemployment rate and dependency rate were not significant, while for PDRB it was significant; and the value of the F test is significant, this shows that the variables of average length of school, unemployment rate and dependency rate have no significant effect on poverty rate, while PDRB has a significant effect. The results also show that the variable poverty rate in Solo Raya can be explained by the variables of average length of schooling, unemployment rate, PDRB, dependency rate on poverty rate.
